Capella Ha Noi

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Created by legendary designer Bill Bensley, Capella Hanoi is an architectural masterpiece inspired by the golden age of opera, where each suite represents a distinct chapter in the historical and artistic story of Hanoi in the 1920s. With only 47 rooms, the hotel captivates guests through refined service, highly personalized living spaces, and meticulous attention to the smallest details. Since its opening, Capella Hanoi has quickly become a favored destination for connoisseurs and travelers seeking to explore Hanoi through a lens of culture, art, and elevated personalization.

Located less than a five-minute walk from the Hanoi Opera House—one of the capital’s most iconic landmarks—and the Old Quarter, the hotel features a distinctive blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, recreating a luxurious inn once reserved for celebrated artists and composers during opera’s golden era. From the exterior, the hotel’s dominant hues of yellow, white, and cream harmoniously combine the nostalgic charm of French architecture with the elegant, free-flowing spirit of classic Indochinese design. Beyond accommodation, Capella Hanoi also earns strong acclaim for its exceptional culinary offerings.

Capella Hanoi is no stranger to international rankings. In 2025, the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia-Pacific 2025 honored the hotel at No. 2 in the category of “Best City Hotels in Vietnam.” Previously, it was one of only two representatives from Vietnam to receive the highest five-star rating in the Forbes Travel Guide 2025—often regarded as the “Oscars” of the hospitality industry. Business Insider also awarded Capella Hanoi the Global Recognition Award 2024, celebrating hotels with outstanding contributions to the global tourism and hospitality sector. Notably, Capella Hanoi is the only hotel in Vietnam with three restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide 2025, including Hibana by Koki, which has retained its prestigious one Michelin star for the third consecutive year.
