Billion-dollar infrastructure finalized: South Nha Trang ready for a new, highly developed position
With the opening of the entire Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway to traffic, along with the massive capital poured into transport infrastructure this year, Khanh Hoa not only completes its transport network but also promotes the shift of the urban focus towards the South Nha Trang area – which houses the province's new administrative center.

Momentum from Infrastructure Projects Simultaneously Reaching Completion
The spirit of "infrastructure first, paving the way" from Resolution of the XIV Congress is being materialized by Khanh Hoa province with a public investment capital of over 13,450 billion VND in 2026. The transportation landscape here is entering the phase of completing the most crucial pieces, creating a seamless network connecting "water - air - road - rail". At the beginning of 2026, when the final 13km of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway opens to traffic, it will officially mark the completion of over 83km of road, allowing people to travel from Ho Chi Minh City to the southern entrance of the Co Ma tunnel (within Dai Lanh commune, Khanh Hoa province) via a continuous expressway system.

Along with that, the 117km Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot expressway project is also approaching the milestone of full operation by the end of 2026. Previously, component project 3 had its technical opening at the end of 2025, creating an important premise to connect the coastal city with the capital of the Central Highlands. The infrastructure boom is also amplified by the North – South high-speed railway super project with an investment scale of about 67 billion USD, expected to commence construction at the end of this year (the section through Khanh Hoa is about 191.8km long). The convergence of expressways and high-speed railways will not only solve the transportation problem but also reposition Nha Trang's economic role on the investment map.
Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA), Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Brokerage Association (VARS) commented: “Nha Trang is among the leading localities in Vietnam with a special coastal position thanks to its favorable, less harsh natural advantages. These factors, combined with infrastructure breakthroughs, will certainly create significant advantages for upcoming investment activities”.

Shifting the focus to the new administrative center
To realize the vision of becoming a central-affiliated city, in 2026, Khanh Hoa will not develop dispersedly but will choose a coastal urban area linked with inter-regional connectivity. Of the total public investment capital of 13,454.9 billion VND, the transportation sector accounts for over 2,411 billion VND, prioritizing coastal routes and key projects. The relocation of the new administrative center to the Nam Nha Trang ward area will lead to the development of a synchronous social infrastructure system. When the existing coastal strip in the old Nha Trang City center no longer has much room for development, Nam Nha Trang, with its vast land fund and unique riverine ecosystem, becomes a new "growth pole". This trend is driving the market to shift from pure resort real estate to high-quality living spaces and long-term asset accumulation.
With many years of closely following the market, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dat – Sales Director of VHOMES – analyzes: “The Nha Trang market is clearly shifting towards long-term settlement and asset accumulation. South Nha Trang is being positioned as the nucleus in the new urban structure – a place where strategic connection axes and future social infrastructure are concentrated”.

The relocation of the administrative center to South Nha Trang is an inevitable trend.
According to experts, the relocation of the administrative center to South Nha Trang is not merely a local planning step, but an inevitable trend for world-class cities in an era of breakthrough. Looking at history, the creation of new "growth poles" always begins with the mass migration of key agencies. The convergence of major transportation and billion-dollar urban projects will turn South Nha Trang into a destination for smart money for at least the next 5-10 years.
Charmora City: International island city welcoming the new development era of Khanh Hoa
Grasping the planning vision of Khanh Hoa province, Sun Group Corporation has created Charmora City – a mega-project likened to the “nucleus” of South Nha Trang urban area. With a scale of nearly 227 hectares, the project boasts a unique “four rivers converging” terrain, surrounded by the Quan Truong and Tac rivers, forming three distinct functional islands: Capital Island – the administrative island; Festival Island – the festival and entertainment island; and Elite Island – the residential island. This structure not only creates privacy but also harmoniously connects the new administrative center with high-class entertainment spaces.

Sun Group creates a major project Charmora City with three separate functional islands in South Nha Trang.
At Elite Island – residential island, Sun Group develops a 3-layer secure, closed compound living space. Notably, there is The Onsen subdivision with the largest riverside Onsen Clubhouse in Vietnam. For the first time in Nha Trang, a residential project brings hot mineral sources directly into the interior, offering a 365-day health care privilege for residents. That is also the reason why, at the end of 2025, The Onsen and The Charm apartment towers created a huge buzz when they "sold-out" their entire inventory in just 48 hours.

In the context of limited long-term land ownership in coastal cities, the product lines at Elite Island - Charmora City are creating absolute attraction as they fully meet the "Live - Work - Play" value system and are also an heirloom asset. The combination of the project's internal strength and the push from USD billion infrastructure is the guarantee for a "sure-win" investment in Nam Nha Trang - the new development hub of Khanh Hoa.
