Dr. Dinh emphasized that Da Nang, together with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, are centrally governed cities receiving special investment attention. Hanoi represents the North, Ho Chi Minh City the South, while Da Nang serves as the growth engine of Central Vietnam. “However, property prices in Da Nang remain relatively lower, while the city enjoys strong advantages in natural conditions, environmental quality, and—following its administrative integration with Quang Nam—enhanced appeal and expanded development room,” he noted.
In Da Nang’s new-phase urban development landscape, the southern area—particularly Hoa Xuan—is emerging as a standout highlight. Significant investment in modern transportation infrastructure, along with the opening of multiple major roads and bridges, has reduced travel time from Hoa Xuan to the city center or Da Nang International Airport to just 15 minutes. This area also sits at the intersection between central Da Nang and the southeastern urban cluster that is expanding toward the former Quang Nam Province, offering large land reserves and attracting investor interest following administrative boundary adjustments.

Located at the confluence of three major rivers—the Co Co, Do Toa, and Cam Le Rivers, with the Co Co River currently being dredged to reconnect Da Nang and Hoi An—experts believe Hoa Xuan is not only ideal for developing modern new urban areas but also a vital link in the Da Nang–Quang Nam regional development strategy, helping to expand socio-economic growth across Central Vietnam.
