The “Twin Qilins Paying Homage to the Sun” Motif and Eastern Spirit in Cora Tower’s Design

Inspired by the “Twin Qilins Paying Homage to the Sun”—a highly symbolic motif in Eastern culture—Cora Tower rises as an emblem of prosperity. The twin towers create a modern living environment infused with positive energy, reflecting both contemporary aspirations and enduring Eastern values.

Eastern Spirit Reflected in Every Design Detail

The iconic “Twin Qilins Paying Homage to the Sun”—a familiar motif in East Asian art and culture—has been vividly brought to life by the architectural team of the Cora Tower project, infusing every apartment with symbolic meaning.

According to the project’s chief architect, the Qilin is a mythical creature believed to embody the spiritual essence of heaven and earth, symbolizing auspiciousness, wealth, and prosperity. The Sun, meanwhile, represents light, vitality, and a fulfilled beginning. When the twin qilins face the sun, the image conveys the reception of blessings, the birth of prosperity, and the dispelling of negative energy—long regarded in Eastern culture as a wish for good fortune and favorable beginnings.

That life force converges at Cora Tower, a project located at the very heart of Sun NeO City in southern Da Nang. Rising proudly from its prime location, Cora Tower embraces a continuous flow of positive energy, where three winding rivers encircle the land and sky, blending seamlessly with the natural rhythm of Da Nang’s landscape.

The two towers are designed symmetrically, resembling twin mythical guardians facing inward. This composition not only creates a solid and balanced architectural structure but also symbolizes the gathering of energy—opening up a living space imbued with vitality, prosperity, and harmony.

The image of the Qilin is expressed through strong, decisive architectural lines on the façades of each tower. Recessed sections along the elevations soften the vertical massing while creating striking visual depth from every angle. A distinctive highlight of Cora Tower lies at the tower crowns, where vibrant orange tones and refined cantilevered designs evoke the form of a Qilin’s head.

“If Western architecture emphasizes grandeur and individuality, Eastern architecture values harmony—between heaven, earth, and humanity. That profound philosophy is expressed through a modern design language. Cora Tower is therefore not merely a collection of buildings, but a living symbol of prosperity, where life becomes an experience aligned with cultural values and a spirit of abundance,” the chief architect shared.

Multifunctional Spaces Shaping a New Living Standard

Beyond honoring cultural values, Cora Tower also creates a rare level of living convenience. At the base of the towers, the podium rises to a height of 7 meters—nearly double the standard height of most contemporary apartment buildings. This golden proportion not only enhances spaciousness and elegance but also maximizes functional efficiency, making it especially suitable for premium commercial, service, and hospitality uses.

The second floor is planned as the project’s “amenity heart,” bringing together a full suite of high-end facilities, including a year-round swimming pool, gym, spa, and Kid’s Club. These amenities are thoughtfully arranged with direct connections to the external commercial street, forming a “vibrant ecosystem” that is both dynamic and private—perfectly catering to the needs of residents and visitors alike.

Regarded as the “energy peak” of Cora Tower, the 25th floor features a limited collection of penthouses offering sweeping views over rivers and the urban skyline. These exclusive residences deliver a pinnacle living experience for discerning owners who value privacy, distinction, and boundless horizons.

From the 3rd to the 24th floors, apartments are designed to optimize natural light and ventilation, with wide balconies, large glass windows, and flexible layouts. The units are highly adaptable, suitable for long-term living, resort-style rental apartments, or premium serviced residences.

This embodies the “multifunctional” spirit of modern architecture—where every square meter speaks the language of lifestyle value, investment value, and experiential value.

A Central Position within Sun Group’s Ecosystem

Prominently positioned on two strategic frontages, Cora Tower is not only an architectural landmark but also a sustainable income-generating investment asset. One frontage faces Nguyen Phuoc Lan Boulevard, a vital commercial artery providing direct access to central Da Nang via Hoa Xuan Bridge. The other borders 29/3 Street, which is being expanded and will soon connect directly to Bui Ta Han Street, forming a seamless traffic corridor leading to the beach and onward to Hoi An–Quang Nam.

This prime location delivers exceptional investment value: rapid access to key destinations such as Da Nang International Airport, My Khe Beach, and the Marble Mountains within just 10 minutes, while also benefiting from interregional transport links that ensure high liquidity and strong long-term price appreciation.

The project also fully benefits from the comprehensive amenity ecosystem of southern Da Nang’s urban complex, where infrastructure and facilities are continuously being upgraded. A standout feature is the 50-hectare Hyde Park, home to six themed parks offering diverse experiences—from entertainment and arts spaces to integrated sports complexes and a luxury marina that brings a resort-style lifestyle into the heart of the city.

In addition, the strong growth momentum of Da Nang’s coastal tourism market is expected to fuel the serviced apartment and resort rental segment. According to statistics from the first nine months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed more than 14.4 million visitors, including 5.8 million international arrivals—underscoring its position as a leading destination in Central Vietnam. Beyond tourism growth, the city continues to unlock broader economic opportunities by attracting strategic investment capital and accelerating infrastructure development.

Against this backdrop, a project like Cora Tower—with its auspicious feng shui location, human-centric design philosophy, multifunctional layouts, and backing from a reputable developer such as Sun Group—stands out as a highly sought-after asset among investors.
