With a duration of nearly 30 minutes, Symphony of the Sea takes place daily at 7:45 PM in the breathtaking bay area of the Kiss Bridge. Invested in by Sun Group and conceived and produced by H2O — the renowned Australian show producer — the performance delivers a world-class “artistic feast,” centered on spectacular displays by 24 “artists on the water,” who are world champions and runners-up in Jetski and Flyboard disciplines. The show is further elevated by mesmerizing laser effects and the stunning interplay of fireworks and water fireworks, appearing for the first time ever in Phu Quoc.
The show guides audiences through a love story between two mythological characters symbolizing earth and water, vividly re-imagined through rich colors, magical imagery, and emotional storytelling. The stage itself is the bay of Sunset Town, allowing visitors to enjoy the experience from Sun Bavaria Gastropub, the Kiss Bridge, and the beachfront alike. In addition, a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system combined with advanced laser technology illuminates the entire bay, ensuring a fully immersive experience from every viewing angle.
The performance draws on World Music, inspired by the vibrant sounds of festive celebrations. Every rhythm and every beam of light ignites excitement, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Interwoven with the soaring, exhilarating high notes of this ocean symphony is a deep, gentle, and emotional moment: the melody of “Me yeu con” echoing through the sound of kite flutes, as a cluster of firework kites is launched skyward from the sea at night by jetskis. Traditional kite flutes — a cherished childhood memory for generations of Vietnamese people — are re-imagined in a new form, shimmering with silver fireworks and moving audiences deeply. This is considered a particularly distinctive highlight of the show, one that brings a soulful contrast to its modern and dynamic spirit.
